Bryan Steil, U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 1st district since 2019, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account regarding election integrity and digital assets.
On July 18, 2025, Steil addressed concerns about election administration in a post stating, "These allegations, if true, outline a troubling pattern of neglect or disinterest by the former Clerk. Our election officials are entrusted to ensure votes are counted fairly, accurately, and on time. The actions of the former clerk and her refusal to take responsibility for". In a separate message published the same day, he encouraged transparency by sharing access to an official report: "You can read WEC’s report yourself below https://t.co/6ZgnbwDpuy".
Later that afternoon, Steil highlighted his involvement in policy discussions at the national level with another update: "At the White House - ready to deliver the golden age of digital assets https://t.co/y0tOecsx5f".
Steil has served as Wisconsin's representative in Congress since succeeding Paul Ryan in 2019. Born in Janesville in 1981 and currently residing there, Steil holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
