Bryan Steil, U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 1st district since 2019, posted updates on his ongoing legislative and oversight activities in a series of tweets on July 22 and July 23, 2025.
On July 22, Steil wrote, "Our ActBlue investigation continues @jim_jordan @RepJamesComer https://t.co/XKRqn0toyh". He followed this with another post containing only a link: "https://t.co/HKmwH0DzMM".
The next day, Steil commented on recent financial legislation: "With GENIUS signed into law, the U.S. will maintain dollar dominance, lead the future of financial innovation, and protect consumers. https://t.co/EbJM4u0DVL".
Steil has served as the representative for Wisconsin's 1st District since succeeding Paul Ryan in 2019. Born in Janesville in 1981 and currently residing there at age 42, he holds degrees from Georgetown University (BS) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (JD).
