Congressman Bryan Steil has announced he will hold an in-person listening session for residents of Wisconsin’s First Congressional District. The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Elkhorn Area High School in the auditorium from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. The session will be moderated by Tim Bremel of WCLO.

The listening session is open and free to all district residents. Attendees are encouraged to discuss current issues in Congress and may also seek help with federal agencies. Those requiring special accommodations are advised to contact Congressman Steil’s office ahead of time at 608-752-4050.

“My top priority is to be available and accessible to Wisconsin families. I’m looking forward to hearing directly from you about the issues facing our community, our state, and our country,” said Steil.

Earlier this year, Steil held similar sessions in Kenosha, Racine, and Rock Counties. He has also hosted several telephone town halls with thousands of participants.

Media members planning to attend must RSVP by emailing Michael Donatello at Michael.Donatello@mail.house.gov.

Bryan Steil has represented Wisconsin’s First Congressional District since winning the seat in 2018 against Randy Bryce. He was re-elected in subsequent elections: defeating Roger Polack in 2020 with about 59% of the vote, Ann Roe in 2022 with approximately 54%, and Peter Barca in 2024 with a similar margin.
