Bryan Steil addresses crypto policy, political tactics, and constituent engagement in latest posts

Bryan Steil, U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 1st congressional district, shared a series of posts on social media between July 30 and August 1, 2025, addressing national policy and local engagement.

On July 30, Steil expressed support for a recent report concerning cryptocurrency and consumer protection. In his post he stated, "Trump crypto report is right. Protecting consumers Encouraging investment in the U.S. Fostering innovation and development".

The following day, Steil criticized political opponents in another post. On July 31 he wrote, "It’s disappointing that Democrat leadership and the radical left resort to these types of tactics. I remain committed to my work to get this country back on track and will not be deterred by their threats."

In his most recent post on August 1, Steil thanked constituents for participating in a listening session while referencing disruptions during the event: "Thank you to the Wisconsin residents who came out to our listening session. Despite a handful of individuals attempting to disrupt the discussion, we had a great dialogue about the issues that matter most. I am committed to remaining open and accessible to the residents of the".

Steil has represented Wisconsin's 1st congressional district since first winning election in 2018. He secured re-election victories against Randy Bryce in 2018 (winning with approximately 54.6% of the vote), Roger Polack in 2020 (59.3%), Ann Roe in 2022 (54.1%), and Peter Barca in 2024 (54%). His tenure has been marked by consistent engagement with constituents through public sessions and commentary on federal policy initiatives.
