Steil has served as Wisconsin’s representative since winning his first election in 2018 against Randy Bryce with 54.6% of the vote and has since maintained his seat through successive victories over Roger Polack in 2020 (59.3%), Ann Roe in 2022 (54.1%), and Peter Barca in 2024 (54%)—reflecting continued support within his district.
