Bryan Steil, U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district, has used his social media platform to share updates on recent events and policy outcomes. On August 7, 2025, Steil encouraged constituents to participate in a live event, posting: "Tune in to my Telephone Town Hall today at 12:30pm CT."
Later the same day, Steil commented on border security statistics with the statement: "Compared to just one year ago, border apprehensions are down more than 90%. That’s success." This post highlighted his perspective on changes in border enforcement outcomes over the past year.
On August 8, Steil followed up with an invitation for constituents who may have missed a previous event: "If you missed my listening session last week, click below to watch in full."
Steil has represented Wisconsin’s 1st district since winning election in 2018. In that year, he defeated Randy Bryce with 54.6% of the vote. He was subsequently re-elected in 2020 against Roger Polack with nearly 60% of votes cast and maintained similar margins against Ann Roe in 2022 and Peter Barca in 2024.
