Bryan Steil, U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district, recently shared several updates on his social media accounts highlighting his support for law enforcement and election security efforts.
On August 26, 2025, Steil posted a message expressing appreciation for police officers: "The men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line for our safety."
Two days later, on August 28, 2025, Steil emphasized his commitment to election integrity in another post: "WATCH: I’m working to make sure it’s easy to vote and hard to cheat".
Later that same day, he welcomed fellow Republican Jim Jordan to Wisconsin and promoted an upcoming radio appearance focused on election security: "Great to have @Jim_Jordan in Wisconsin!

Steil has consistently won re-election since first taking office in 2018. In the most recent contest in 2024, he defeated Peter Barca with 54% of the vote. He previously prevailed over Ann Roe in 2022 with a similar margin and won against Roger Polack in 2020 with nearly 60% of the vote. His initial victory came in 2018 against Randy Bryce, where he secured just over half the ballots cast.
