President Donald J. Trump has approved $29.8 million in federal aid to assist recovery efforts in Wisconsin after recent severe flooding. The announcement follows a request led by Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01), who coordinated the Wisconsin congressional delegation’s appeal for a Major Disaster Declaration to secure federal assistance.

“This relief will have a meaningful impact on working families throughout Southeast Wisconsin. Thank you President Trump,” said Steil.

Bryan Steil has represented Wisconsin's 1st congressional district since 2019 and has won several general elections, including victories over Peter Barca in 2024, Ann Roe in 2022, Roger Polack in 2020, and Randy Bryce in 2018.
