School District of Janesville hosting job fair in late July

The School District of Janesville (SDJ) will host a job fair on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday, July 31, from 9:00 AM to noon. The event will take place at Marshall Middle School located at 25 South Pontiac Drive in Janesville.

Job seekers attending the fair will have the opportunity to meet with principals, HR staff, supervisors, and educators to learn about various open positions within the district. SDJ is looking to fill roles such as teachers, custodial staff, clerical workers, paraprofessionals (classroom and school aides), student nutrition staff (food service), and substitutes for teachers, aides, custodial staff, and food service personnel.

Interviews will be conducted during the job fair without requiring pre-registration. Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume and can complete an application on-site. Those interested in applying before the event can do so through the SDJ Human Resources website.

“As one of the largest employers in Rock County, the School District of Janesville is an exciting, welcoming, and rewarding place to work,” said Mark Holzman, Superintendent. “There are a variety of full and part-time positions that could be a perfect fit for those looking for their first job, someone re-entering the workforce or anyone looking for a new work experience.”
