Enrollment at Juda School District decreased by 1.1% compared to previous school year

There were 280 students enrolled in Juda School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 1.1% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 50.7% of them were girls, and 49.3% were boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 96.1% of the Juda School District total enrollment.

Juda School District covers two schools within Green County, with its main office in Juda.

Among the two schools in the Juda School District, Juda Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 189 students in the 2023-24 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 14 students in a Wisconsin classroom, compared to the national average of 1:16. AAA State of Play considered Wisconsin to have the 14th best teacher to student ratio in the U.S.
