There were 3,451 students enrolled in Milton School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 0.9% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 52% of them were boys, and 47.9% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 88.1% of the Milton School District total enrollment.

Milton School District covers seven schools within Rock County, with its main office in Milton.

Among the seven schools in the Milton School District, Milton High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,054 students in the 2023-24 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.
